5.5.1 - Overview

KwikWork Integrator for IBM Content Navigator is a user interface that provides a user the ability to easily configure, expand, and extend the IBM Content Navigator External Data Service (EDS).  This functionality will allow developers to connect to External Data Sources through a centralized configurable Integrator.  The KwikWork Integrator eliminates the need for coding to integrate with External Data Sources (Databases, Line of Business Systems, Web Services, etc.).

KwikWork Integrator provides a centralized, configurable user experience to access external data sources such as databases, Line of Business Systems (LOB), and web services for use in validation, choice lists, default values, and creation of dependent choice lists.

KwikWork Integrator for IBM Content Navigator provides an interface that allows an appropriate user to configure, expand, and extend the ICN External Data Service (EDS). This versatile interface allows business analysts, solution architects or system administrators to identify fields or values in the ECM system that require the use of external data or validation against external data.
